This Rolls Royce engine building plant was a brand new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
Derby Ceilings and Interiors installed over 10,000m² of Armstrong ceilings, including a substantial amount of AMF ceiling panels to reduce and dampen sound. The deciding factors at tender stage were Derby Ceilings and Interiors capacity to quickly mobilise a large and experienced team, and its ability to comply with the strict conditions of an ambitious fast-track contract.
On site Derby Ceilings and Interiors had its own compound, site cabins and project foremen. The key to success was close co-ordination with the other trade contractors on site.
